Our story
Barking Dog Security was founded in London in 2002. From the start, the principle was straightforward: do the job properly, treat every client as an individual, and let the reputation speak for itself.
Over two decades later, that reputation has done exactly that. Many of our original clients are still with us today. They know our engineers by name; we know their systems, their sites, their full service history. That level of continuity is something you only get from a team that's built for the long term, not for volume.
We specialise in intruder alarms, CCTV and access control, and we deliver every one of them to the same exacting standard. Every system we install is designed, maintained and supported by our own directly employed team, with no subcontracting and no shortcuts.
What we believe
Every job carries our name. That means every installation is spec'd individually, every call is answered by someone who knows your history with us.
We've told clients they don't need to spend as much as they thought. We'd rather keep a client for twenty years than oversell once.
Our oldest clients have been with us since the beginning. We still service their original systems. That's the relationship we aim for with everyone.
Where we work
We've been protecting London homes and businesses since 2002. Over the years, client demand took us further - into Surrey, the Home Counties, and West Sussex. The geography changed; the team and standards didn't.
The same engineers who work your street in SW London will travel to Guildford, Horsham or Crawley. We factor travel into our scheduling so no client ever feels like a second priority.
